Peonies, friends & an excuse to spend an evening at the farm? Count us in.
Join us at Sweet Spigot for a relaxed, garden-inspired evening centered around peonies, perennial sharing, and community connection.
We’ll begin with a Peony Workshop led by our guest speaker, who will share how he became interested in growing peonies, a little of their history, the different types of peonies, planting and care tips, favorite books and resources, and recommendations for where to buy healthy plants.
After the workshop and Q&A, we’ll move into the Root Swap. If you have a healthy peony root, bulb, tuber, or perennial division you’d like to share, bring it along and label it with the plant name or variety if you know it. Guests who contribute will have the first opportunity to choose something new from the swap table.
